One possible workaround is to create a new print queue but change the protocol being used to connect to the printer. To do this you will need to determine what IPv4 address the Samsung is using. Once you have that information you can open Printers & Scanners and click the plus button to add. Then click on the IP icon and enter the IPv4 address. Then set the Protocol to Line Printer Daemon and select the relevant Samsung driver in the Use menu and click Add to complete the creation of the new print queue.
